Abstract

The integration of science and technology in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) is an innovative approach aimed at developing a generation of Muslims who are not only religious but also capable of critical, analytical, and visionary thinking. Islamic education is inherently linked to the advancement of knowledge, as the Qur’an contains numerous scientific (kauniyah) verses that can be explained through scientific perspectives. The use of technology in IRE—such as digital media, interactive applications, and educational videos—enhances students’ interest and contextual understanding of Islamic values. This article explores the importance of synergy between science, technology, and IRE in shaping holistic learners who are prepared to face global challenges. Through this integrative approach, Islamic education is expected to produce individuals who are faithful, knowledgeable, and adaptive to the changing times.
