AI has proven capable of processing large volumes of patient data quickly and accurately, supporting medical professionals in clinical decision-making. Through literature review and analysis of several AI-based system implementations, such as early cancer detection, radiology image analysis, and chronic disease prediction, this research demonstrates that AI can accelerate diagnosis, reduce doctors' workload, and improve the accuracy and quality of healthcare services. However, challenges such as system integration, data privacy, and ethical considerations must be addressed for widespread implementation.
2025-04-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Sains dan Teknologi Indonesiahttps://journal.ypmma.org/index.php/sti/article/view/284Pemanfaatan Sampah Plastik Menjadi Bahan Bangunan Sederhana2025-05-10T20:05:19+00:00Nailias Sa'addahsaah@gmail.com
This study aims to address the increasing plastic waste problem by utilizing it as a simple construction material, such as plastic bricks or paving blocks. Polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) plastic waste was collected, cleaned, shredded, melted, and molded using brick molds. A mixture of plastic and sand was used to enhance the strength of the product. The test results showed that the resulting building products were strong enough for non-structural uses such as yards or gardens. This utilization offers an environmentally friendly solution with the potential to be developed at the community level.
2025-04-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Sains dan Teknologi Indonesiahttps://journal.ypmma.org/index.php/sti/article/view/288Pemanfaatan Virtual Reality dalam Pembelajaran Farmasetika untuk Mahasiswa Apoteker2025-05-12T18:40:20+00:00Riska Ramadhaniaskhjm@gmail.com
The utilization of Virtual Reality (VR) technology in pharmaceutical education represents a significant innovation in enhancing students’ understanding of pharmaceutics concepts. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of using VR as an interactive learning medium in pharmaceutics courses for pharmacy professional students. A quasi-experimental method was employed with two groups: one using conventional learning and the other utilizing VR technology. The results showed that students who learned using VR demonstrated higher levels of comprehension and material retention compared to the control group. Moreover, students expressed greater learning interest and a more immersive educational experience. It can be concluded that VR technology has the potential to serve as an effective and innovative learning medium in pharmaceutical education, particularly in pharmaceutics laboratory practices.
2025-04-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Sains dan Teknologi Indonesiahttps://journal.ypmma.org/index.php/sti/article/view/291Pemanfaatan Magnet Sederhana untuk Mengenal Gaya Tarik dan Tolak2025-05-16T03:09:55+00:00Desy Sary Ayundadssaryanynda@gmail.com
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using simple magnets in introducing the concepts of push and pull forces to elementary school students. The activities were conducted through simple experimental approaches where students directly observed and tested the effects of magnetic force on various objects. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a pretest and posttest design. The participants were fifth-grade students from a Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN). The results indicate that learning through simple magnetic media significantly enhances students' understanding of the push and pull force concepts. Hands-on experimentation also increased students’ interest and participation in science learning. Therefore, the use of simple magnets is recommended as an effective learning tool for teaching force and motion at the elementary level.
2025-04-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Sains dan Teknologi Indonesiahttps://journal.ypmma.org/index.php/sti/article/view/292Integrasi Sains dan Teknologi dalam Pendidikan Agama Islam: Membangun Generasi Muslim yang Kritis dan Visioner2025-05-16T19:09:22+00:00Zaratuzartazkiyajauhar@gmail.com
The integration of science and technology in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) is an innovative approach aimed at developing a generation of Muslims who are not only religious but also capable of critical, analytical, and visionary thinking. Islamic education is inherently linked to the advancement of knowledge, as the Qur’an contains numerous scientific (kauniyah) verses that can be explained through scientific perspectives. The use of technology in IRE—such as digital media, interactive applications, and educational videos—enhances students’ interest and contextual understanding of Islamic values. This article explores the importance of synergy between science, technology, and IRE in shaping holistic learners who are prepared to face global challenges. Through this integrative approach, Islamic education is expected to produce individuals who are faithful, knowledgeable, and adaptive to the changing times.
2025-04-16T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Sains dan Teknologi Indonesia
