Submission

1. How do I submit a manuscript to this journal?

Manuscripts are submitted through the journal's OJS (Open Journal Systems) platform. The steps are:

  • Register or log in to your OJS account
  • Click Submissions → New Submission
  • Follow the 5-step wizard: Start, Upload, Metadata, Confirmation, Next Steps
  • Ensure your manuscript complies with the Author Guidelines before submitting
2. What file format is accepted for manuscript submission?

Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format using the official manuscript template. PDF files are not accepted at the submission stage. The template is available on the Author Guidelines page.

3. Does the manuscript file need to be anonymized?

Yes. Since journals on this platform generally apply double-blind peer review, all author-identifying information (names, affiliations, acknowledgements) must be removed from the manuscript file before upload. Author details are entered separately during the metadata step of submission.

4. What is the recommended manuscript length?

The recommended length typically ranges between 4,000–8,000 words, excluding references, though this may vary slightly by journal. Please refer to the specific Author Guidelines for the exact word or page count required. Manuscripts significantly outside the recommended range may be returned for revision prior to review.

5. Can manuscripts be submitted in a language other than English?

This depends on the journal's specific policy — please check the Author Guidelines for accepted languages. Regardless of the manuscript language, an English abstract is typically required for indexing purposes.

6. Can a submitted manuscript be withdrawn?

Withdrawal is generally permitted before the review process begins. Once review is underway, withdrawal requests must include a written justification sent to the editorial team via the Contact page (see About the Journal menu). Withdrawal after acceptance may be subject to an administrative fee.

7. Is simultaneous submission to multiple journals allowed?

No. Simultaneous submission to more than one journal is considered a publication ethics violation. Manuscripts found to have been submitted elsewhere at the same time will be immediately rejected.

8. Is there a limit on the number of authors per manuscript?

There is no fixed limit on the number of authors, but each listed author must have made a genuine contribution to the research. The corresponding author is responsible for all communication with the editorial team.

Review Process

9. What type of peer review does this journal use?

This journal typically applies a Double-Blind Peer Review process, in which the identities of authors and reviewers are kept confidential from one another throughout the review process, conducted by at least two independent reviewers.

10. How long does the review process take?

Review duration varies by journal, but authors can generally expect an initial editorial decision within about 1–2 weeks, followed by a peer review period of approximately 2–6 weeks, depending on reviewer availability and manuscript complexity.

11. What is a desk review?

A desk review is an initial screening conducted by the editor before a manuscript is sent to reviewers. The editor checks:

  • Topic relevance to the journal's scope
  • Completeness of formatting and template compliance
  • Plagiarism check results (typically max. 20% similarity)
  • Overall writing quality

Manuscripts that do not pass desk review are typically returned within 1–2 weeks.

12. What do "Major Revision" and "Minor Revision" mean?
  • Minor Revision — Small corrections needed. Usually no further review round.
  • Major Revision — Substantial changes needed. Manuscript will typically be re-reviewed.

Authors are usually given 14 days (minor) or 30 days (major) to submit revisions.

13. How can I track the status of my manuscript?

Log in to your OJS account and go to the Submissions menu. The status is shown in real time: Submitted → Under Review → Revision Required → Accepted / Rejected. Notifications are also sent automatically via email.

Publication

14. How often is this journal published?

Publication frequency and issue schedule are available on the journal's About the Journal or Announcements page. Manuscripts accepted after the current issue's deadline will be scheduled for the next available issue.

15. Does this journal offer "Ahead of Print" or "Early Access"?

Yes. Accepted manuscripts that have completed proofreading are typically published online first (Online First / Ahead of Print) before being assigned to a specific volume/issue. These articles already carry a DOI and are citable.

16. Do authors receive a certificate of publication?

Many journals provide a digital publication certificate sent via email to the corresponding author once the article is published. If needed, please request a reissue via the Contact page (see About the Journal menu).

17. Do published articles receive a DOI?

Yes. Every published article typically receives a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) registered through CrossRef. The DOI is assigned after the article completes the final proofreading stage.

18. Is this journal Open Access?

Most journals under this platform apply a full Open Access policy, allowing articles to be read, downloaded, and shared freely without subscription fees. The exact license is specified in the journal's Copyright Notice.

19. What citation format is used?

The default referencing style is APA 7th Edition unless stated otherwise in the Author Guidelines. Using a reference management tool such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote is strongly recommended.

Publication Fees (APC)

20. Is there a fee to submit a manuscript?

No submission fee applies. Submitting a manuscript is completely free. Charges, if any, are only applied once a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication.

21. How much is the Article Processing Charge (APC)?

APC details can be found on the Fees page under the About the Journal menu. The fee generally covers editorial handling, layout, DOI registration, and permanent article hosting.

22. Are APC waivers or discounts available?

Fee waivers may be considered for authors from institutions with limited research funding or from low-income countries. Requests should be submitted via the Contact page (see About the Journal menu), accompanied by a supporting statement.

23. When should the APC be paid, and is it refundable?

The APC is typically paid after the manuscript has been accepted and before the layout/proofreading process begins. Once paid, the APC is generally non-refundable, including in cases of later withdrawal or retraction due to research misconduct.

Publication Ethics

24. What is the plagiarism tolerance threshold?

The typical similarity threshold is a maximum of 20% (excluding the reference list and quotations), checked using plagiarism detection software such as iThenticate, Turnitin, or Copyleaks.

25. What is self-plagiarism?

Self-plagiarism refers to reusing one's own previously published work without proper attribution. This journal applies a zero-tolerance policy toward self-plagiarism.

26. Does this journal accept manuscripts previously presented at conferences?

Conference proceedings papers may be accepted if substantially expanded (typically at least 50% new content) and not previously published in journal form. Authors must disclose this in the cover letter.

27. What is the correction and retraction policy?

This journal follows COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines. A correction is issued for minor errors that do not affect the overall findings. A retraction is applied for serious violations such as data fabrication, falsification, or substantial plagiarism.

28. Is ethical clearance required for research?

For research involving human subjects, ethics committee approval must be obtained and documented in the manuscript where applicable. This should be stated in the Method section, along with a conflict of interest declaration.

29. Can I use AI tools such as ChatGPT to help write my manuscript?

AI-assisted writing tools may be used, subject to the following principles:

  • Disclosure is mandatory — any use of AI tools must be disclosed in the Acknowledgements section.
  • AI cannot be listed as an author — it does not meet authorship criteria.
  • Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy and originality of all AI-assisted content.
  • Manuscripts substantially generated by AI without meaningful author contribution may be rejected.
