Abstract
This community service activity aimed to improve the digital skills of students at MTs Darul Ya’quubi Peureulak through training in processing student grade and attendance data using Microsoft Excel. The activity was motivated by the need to strengthen students’ practical skills in managing and presenting academic data systematically. The training was conducted for three days using participatory methods consisting of lectures, demonstrations, hands-on practice, mentoring, and evaluation. The training materials included basic Microsoft Excel operations, data input and formatting, basic formulas, data sorting and filtering, and the creation of tables and graphs. Participants also practiced processing student grades and attendance data using simulated academic datasets. Evaluation was conducted through pre-tests, post-tests, observation, and practical assignments. The results showed that the average participant score increased from 42.86% in the pre-test to 87.14% in the post-test. The improvement of 44.29 percentage points indicates an increase in participants’ understanding and practical skills in using Microsoft Excel. Overall, the activity successfully strengthened students’ digital literacy and ability to process academic data independently and systematically.
