The Editorial Board of Design Journal (e-ISSN: 2964-6227, p-ISSN: 2964-805X) invites scholarly contributions for Volume 4, Number 2, to be published in July 2026.

Submission Period: March 2026 – June 2026

Manuscript Types:

Design Journal accepts Design Research Papers, Design Propositions, Design Perspectives, and PhD Study Reports that advance knowledge in design practice, research, theory, management, or education.

Scope:

We welcome interdisciplinary manuscripts addressing contemporary design challenges across various domains, including but not limited to design practice, design thinking and innovation, design theory and methods, sustainable design, design pedagogy, digital technology design, and human-centered design.

Review Process:

All submissions undergo rigorous double-blind peer review by independent expert referees. Manuscripts may be submitted in English (preferred) or Indonesian.

Open Access:

Design Journal operates under a gold open-access model. All published articles receive Digital Object Identifiers (DOI) for permanent citation.

Design Journal is published biannually by the Research Division, YPMMA Institute, Indonesia.
